2013 Scholarship Awards

Our scholarship committees were busy this year with close to $140,000 available to award college scholarships. It took over 50 volunteers and many hours to select the 75 students from St. Clair County to receive awards.
Historically speaking, students attending the University of Michigan have received over $260,000 from the Foundation scholarship funds, while St. Clair County Community College is in second, receiving $203,000. U of M expanded their lead this year with $36,000 in scholarship aid vs. SC4’s $21,888.

Scholarship recipients Michael Copley and Taylor Rossi are at right. Michael Copley, a Marine City graduate will be attending the University of Michigan with some help from the Christian & Agnes Haas Fund and the Barbara Ann Kessler Saph Scholarship Fund. And thanks to the F. William & Patricia Schwarz Fund, St. Clair High School graduate, Taylor Rossi will be attending Western Michigan University.
