Destination: Port Huron $20 Winners

Posted on April 2, 2008

The Destination: Port Huron task force had difficulty selecting the winners of the $20 incentive for ideas on improving downtown Port Huron—- there were too many good ideas!  During the month of March the public was invited to submit their ideas on how to improve downtown Port Huron.  More than 250 ideas were submitted covering a wide range of themes.  After weeding out a few, and then combining like ideas, the Task Force finally resorted to ‘pulling names from a hat’ to pick the winners.  A complete list of the winners is available here.  The public is invited to the Performing Arts Center at Port Huron High School at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 3rd, for a chance to vote on the ‘best of the best’.  The first 200 people will get to use a wireless hand-held voting system to pick their favorites among all of the ideas submitted.
