Foundation addresses basic needs

Posted on September 5, 2008

To help at-risk youth, seniors and families during this economically challenging time the Community Foundation is seeking proposals that will assist with basic needs (food, clothing, shelter, medical care) prior to year end.  David O’Connor, Chair of the Foundation’s Grants Committee, stated that the committee anticipates up to ten grants, each not to exceed $2,000 will be awarded in October.

Details of the Request for Proposal can be found and printed here.  The deadline for proposals to be received at the Community Foundation is October 1st.
