Grant Making Policy

Posted on September 25, 2012

As of October 1, 2012 the Community Foundation will be operating under a new grant making policy for requests seeking $50,000 or more.  The new policy states that the Foundation will only be reviewing these types of requests during the fourth quarter of the calendar year.  This will allow the Foundation to consider such large requests at the same time they are considering their operating and grant making budgets for the following year.

Decisions may be made in that same fourth quarter or delayed until the first quarter of the following year to allow the Board of Directors a period of time to explore any questions or issues they may have with the request.
