Aspiring entrepreneurs in the Blue Water Region will now have an even better chance of accelerating creative and innovative business concepts into newly launched businesses.

The Community Capital Club (C3) has added $5,000 to the prize funding for GreenLight Port Huron’s entrepreneurial competition, raising the total giveaway to over $15,500 in total prizes, and increasing the Grand Prize (1st place) to an amazing $10,000. “We are excited that the Capital Community Club (C3) has contributed towards the prize money for Greenlight Port Huron as it will add great value to the already entrepreneurial ecosystem. The people and the business community of the Port Huron area were the exact reason why they were chosen to be one of the hubs for Greenlight Michigan and Spartan Innovations looks forward to being great partners with TechPort and the Port Huron community,” said Spartan Innovations Director of Student and Community Engagement, Paul Jaques.

Business presenters interested in competing are reminded to complete a brief synopsis about their business by Friday, October 31 at GreenLightPortHuron.com  After panel review, chosen presenters for GreenLight Port Huron will be announced on Monday, November 24, via the website and shared with regional media.
