Jake Jahn Fund

Posted on May 30, 2012

Steven Jacob Jahn “Jake” was born on May 16th, 1994.  The oldest of 4 children, Jake was responsible, caring, compassionate and friendly.  He was an amazing flute player and enjoyed music in general.  He also had a passion for photography.  He was accepted to Michigan State School of Music and was due to attend in the Fall of 2012.  He wanted to become a band director.

In a most unexpected turn of events, Jake died on March 19th, 2012 at the age on 17.  To honor his memory, his parents Steve and Crystal Jahn have set up the Jake Jahn Scholarship fund.  The criteria selected for this scholarship represents what Jake stood for and what his parents think he would have liked.
