Megan Wilson

The Community Foundation of St. Clair County is pleased to announce the hiring of Megan Wilson as the new Program Officer for the Foundation. Megan joins the Foundation with extensive experience in the communications, marketing and public relations fields.
Most recently, Megan spent five years as the Managing Editor/Marketing Coordinator for the Detroit Athletic Club. There she was responsible for the production of the state’s oldest monthly-published magazine, the DAC News, as well as the majority of member communications for the club. She oversaw the marketing projects and strategy at the DAC and worked on annual communications for the DAC Foundation. Additionally, Megan was an integral part of website and e-communication development for the club. Prior to the DAC, she was the Director of Public Relations for Village Green Companies in Farmington Hills, MI.
Megan is a graduate of Michigan State University with a bachelor of arts in Communication and a specialization in Public Relations. She is new to the Blue Water area, having relocated from Royal Oak after her wedding last year. Megan and her husband Rob live in Port Huron.
Megan will begin work with the Foundation in late September, and will assume responsibility for managing the Foundation’s many grant making programs and initiatives.
