Regional Tourism Campaign

The Community Foundation has joined a large coalition of organizations to develop and implement a new regional tourism campaign.  Developed and implemented by the Blue Water Area Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, the campaign targets the waterfront communities of Algonac, Marine City, St. Clair, Marysville, Port Huron and Lexington.  It is the first time these communities have collaborated on a regional tourism campaign. 

The theme of the billboards and print ads that will begin in May is “Discover the Blue” and you can see a sample of the billboard design below:

Other participating organizations include:  Lexington DDA, Blue Water Area Chamber of Commerce, Port Huron DDA, the Acheson Donor Advised Fund at the Community Foundation, St. Clair DDA and St. Clair Chamber of Commerce, Marine City Chamber of Commerce Marketing Committee, Marysville Chamber of Commerce, and the City of Algonac.
