St. Clair County River Day 2013
Posted on May 23, 2013
St. Clair County River Day 2013 will be held on Saturday, June 8. River Day 2013 is provided by the Blue Water River Walk project grant funds from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association through the Community Foundation of St. Clair County and the St. Clair County Health Department. We are very excited to be a part of this year’s St. Clair County River Day, helping our community enjoy the great outdoors together.
This event is meant to increase awareness of water pollution in our rivers and lakes and to give locals the opportunity to experience how amazing and fun our waterways are. Events are held all over the county for guests of all ages and on multiple waterways, including the Black River, St. Clair River, and Pine River.
Just a few of the exciting events this year include the Cargill Kid’s Fishing Derby, the Island Loop Kayak Trip, and the Vantage Point Fishing Clinic. The Vantage Point Fishing Clinic will be held at the Great Lakes Maritime Center, which is a part of the Blue Water River Walk site.
