The Promise of a Better Life

Posted on December 14, 2010

Douglas & Elda WebbDouglas and Elda Webb have lived in Florida for over two decades, but always considered Port Huron their home.  A bequest gift from Elda recently established the Douglas and Elda L. Webb Scholarship Fund.  Mr. Webb has made similar arrangements.

The Webb family, together with other families throughout the county, have made nearly $3m in scholarship commitments this year.  When those gifts are realized, hundreds of additional students will have a college degree within their reach.

It’s our own, smaller, but growing version of the Kalamazoo Promise - and donors like you make it possible.

In creating a Scholarship Fund, you invest in your community’s future and show students you care.  Your gift can help students - from preschool to postgraduate - achieve their lifetime dreams!
