Valentine’s Day Grants
Posted on January 24, 2012
The Community Foundation is partnering with the Times Herald to spread some love this Valentine’s Day! Tell us why you LOVE your favorite nonprofit and they may be the recipient of a Valentine’s Day grant from the Community Foundation. Ten organizations will be chosen as “finalists” and profiled by the Times Herald – so this is your chance to write the ultimate love note to an organization that you care about.
The community will have the opportunity to vote for our Valentine’s Day grant recipients, and the top two organizations will receive grants of at least $1,000 from the Community Foundation. There are over 100 nonprofits in St. Clair County and we want to hear stories about all of them!
Here are the details:
- Eligible organizations include public charities that are located in and serve St. Clair County.
- Nominations will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on February 5th.
- The ten finalists will be profiled by the Times Herald on February 12th and votes can be cast until midnight on February 14th at http://www.thetimesherald.com.
- Grant recipients will be announced the week following Valentine’s Day.
